Article: Georgia, South Carolina Inventors Develop Bag with Tamper Evident Closure

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 24 -- John R. Allen of Tifton, Ga., and Stuart R. Sharp of Greer, S.C., have developed a bag with a tamper evident closure and methods of forming the same.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The bag has a tube body with a front wall and a back wall positioned between a first end and a second end. A back flap extension member connects to and extends outwardly from the second end of the back wall. A primer material is positioned on the back flap extension member and an adhesive material is placed on the back flap extension member that folds over to overlie and contact the primer material."
