Denim jackets have been selling well in Kansai and Kyushu since February 2002. They are for women in their late 10s and 20s. Bleached or stone-washed light-blue denim jackets have been selling well. Neither apparel wholesalers nor retailers were expecting much from denim jackets initially. Although they did not expect them to sell at first, they sold better than had been expected.
