WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minnesota, has introduced the Australian Wheat Board Accountability Act of 2007 (S. 217), legislation that would "require the U.S. Trade Representative to initiate a section 301 investigation into abuses by the Australian Wheat Board with respect to the U.N. Oil-for-Food Programme."
The bill, introduced on Jan. 9, was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
