ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 6 -- Takahiro Goto of Shizuoka-ken, Japan, has developed a planographic printing plate precursor comprising a substrate and a negative image recording layer provided on the substrate.
An abstract of the invention, released by the Patent & Trademark Office, said: "The present invention provides a planographic printing plate precursor comprising a substrate and a negative image recording layer provided on the substrate containing: a compound that generates a radical or an acid by light or heat; a polymerizable compound or a crosslinking compound; and an infrared ray absorbing agent, wherein a dynamic friction coefficient of the outermost surface of the planographic ...
