RONCEVERTE - Still in its infancy, Main Street Ronceverte has made major strides in revitatlizing its bluecollar community since it was awarded the Main Street designation in Sep ember 2005.
"We were the last of three communities to be added to the Main Street West Virginia program," said Doug Hylton, program manager for Main Street Ronceverte.
"Our mission is to bring about downtown growth and development of Ronceverte, using the outline developed by the Main Street West Virginia program," he continued.
"We established our four committees of organization, promotion, economic restructuring and design, each of which is directed toward the downtown revitalization," Hylton added.
