A new upscale community has broken ground on 200 acres in Mapleton that will include 60 lots, open space, trails and meandering streams.
The Preserve at Mapleton is being developed by David and Nathan Simpson, owners of Landmark Land Development in Springville. Each of the 60 lots being developed will vary in size from approximately one to six acres and are expected to sell for $350,000 to $2 million.
"The preserve is the sweet life, it's the quiet life and its peaceful," said Howard Fullmer, president of McMullin Fullmer Associates, which is the marketing agent for the project. "It's a place where people can come to escape and kind of have their own home and their own world. Mapleton has ...
