Leh, Feb 16 -- While a lot of people in north India are enjoying January's winter in mid-February by visiting Himachal Pradesh or Jammu and Kashmir, many children in Leh are having a gala time learning Ice Hockey at the Ladakh Winter Sports Club.

With the number of new students on the rise at the Ladakh Winter Sports Club (LWSC), the Ice Hockey is fascinating a lot of youngsters and kids, making the game an upcoming popular sport here. This year alone about 125 students have learnt basics skills in skating and advanced ice hockey.
