Article: DIANE BRADFORD NAMED DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT

The Georgia Department of Education issued the following news release:

State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox announced today that Dr. Diane Bradford will join the Georgia Department of Education as Deputy Superintendent for Teacher and Student Support.

Dr. Bradford is currently serving as Chief Academics Officer for the Cobb County School District.

A 35-year veteran of public education, Dr. Bradford's career began in Morgan County, Alabama, where she served as an English Teacher for eight years. In the following years, she served as a guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent at school districts in Alabama and North Carolina.
