The Georgia Supreme Court issued the following news release:
The Supreme Court of Georgia will hold a special oral argument session in Eatonton, Georgia, on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. The session, which is open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Putnam County Courthouse located at 100 S. Jefferson Street. The Court's visit is just one of the events planned for this year as part of Putnam County's Bicentennial Celebration.
Although the Justices normally hear oral arguments in Atlanta at the State Judicial Building, at least once each year the Court schedules a special session outside of Atlanta. Over the years the Court has traveled to Jesup, Macon, New Echota, ...
