Sasebo-based Forward-Deployed Naval Force (FDNF) junior Sailors and members of the Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) community teamed up to bring belated valentine cheer to a Japanese children's home here on Feb. 17.

The participants played with children from the Kororyo Children's Home, the equivalent of a foster home, and gave them the tools, crayons and papers, along with careful teaching to create traditional American valentine's cards. Chocolates and other candies were distributed to the kids at the end of the visit.
