Article: Japanese Inventors Develop Ink Cartridge

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 21 -- Takeo Seino, Satoshi Shinada, Hisashi Miyazawa, Yasuto Sakai, Masaki Shimomura and Satoshi Nakata, all from Nagano, Japan, have developed an ink cartridge with a container that accommodates an ink therein.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ink cartridge has pivotable levers connected to walls of a container, and both pawls and protruded guide portions formed on the levers. The pawls are engageable with an ink cartridge holder."
