Gov. Bill Ritter, D-Colo., has issued the following news release:
Gov. Bill Ritter today announced the appointments of Norman C. Cooling of Canon City to the Fremont County Court bench and Norman D. Haglund of Denver as a District Court judge in the 2nd Judicial District.
"Both appointees offer a thorough knowledge of their constituents and state law," Ritter said. "I have no doubt that Norman Cooling and Norman Haglund will serve with the integrity and dedication that the office requires."
Cooling has served as a deputy district attorney in the 11th Judicial District since 1985. He is a faculty member at the National Advocacy Center and chairman of the Colorado District Attorneys' Council ...
