The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee unanimously approved bipartisan legislation on Thursday authored by Chairman Joe Lieberman (ID-Conn.) and Ranking Member Susan Collins (R-Me.) that would implement unfulfilled recommendations of the 9-11 Commission by improving the nation's security against terrorism.
