Air Force officials are investigating the use of renewable energy like wind, solar and geothermal source for use in the future as an alternative to petroleum said the assistant secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics.

William C. Anderson believes changes to how energy is supplied will change in the future, but he said it is hard to predict what the prominent source of energy is going to be a dozen years from now.
