Article: Selection process of khadi board quashed

NEW DELHI, India, Feb 23 -- THE SELECTION process undertaken by the UP Khadi Evam Gramodyog Board, Lucknow for filling up 88 vacancies of Class III and IV posts, including spinning Guides, peons and watchmen etc, in pursuance to the advertisement no.21 dated march 15, 2005, has been quashed by the Lucknow bench of the high court here.

Justice Devi Prasad Singh of the high court passed the above orders while allowing a writ petition filed by one Suraj Singh and others alleging gross illegalities and arbitrariness in the selection process as a result of which the whole selection process stood vitiated.
