Monmouth University issued the following news release:

Monmouth University held its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Celebration on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in Anacon Hall. The award for the MLK, Jr. Unsung Hero was presented to: Monmouth University faculty member Johanna Foster; Annie Hainesworth, Founder and Director of Monmouth County's Food Pantry; and Monmouth University students Julie Hudson and Erin Majesty.

The MLK, Jr. Unsung Hero Award recognizes people from Monmouth University and the surrounding community who represent the ideals of Dr. King's words, and who are sometimes not recognized for their effort in keeping "the dream alive."
