The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill issued the following press release:
The UNC School of Information and Library Science is offering international seminars this summer in Oxford, England; Prague, Czech Republic; and Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia.
The seminars can be taken for academic credit or on a non-credit basis. Librarianship is the main theme, but the seminars are open to anyone.
Dr. Barbara Moran, a professor and director of international programs in the school, said that participants learn first-hand about libraries in other cultures.
