Psychiatry research group seeks answers on link between sucide, antidepressants in young people.

The National Institute of Mental Health is funding a large-scale clinical study to drill down into the details of the link between antidepressants and suicide.

The outcome of the study could help guide clinical practice at a time when prescriptions have been falling because of fears, about drug risks in young people. The marker for antidepressants is valued at $12.5 billion.
