Appeal for Wil Hetherington - Victim of one of America's Worst Miscarriages of Justice

Many members of ManKind know the story of William Hetherington's infamous and unjust imprisonment, but for those who do not, this is a brief summary.

Wil has been in prison now for 21 years on a false charge of raping his wife. It was a "he said/she said" case with no evidence to convict him, so he has been imprisoned for 30 years merely on the word of a woman.

The trial took place during a bitter divorce and custody dispute when it was expected that Wil would win custody because his wife had abandoned the family for more than two months. Wil had to defend himself in court at the same time as his divorce was proceeding.
