Hudson County Community College issued the following news release:
Hudson County Community President Dr. Glen Gabert announced that the College's Center for Business & Industry will provide English as a Second Language (ESL) classes geared primarily to Pakistani residents beginning Monday, March 5th. There will be no charge for these classes.
The free ESL classes are being offered in conjunction with the Jersey City Employment & Training Program and are being funded by a $125,000 literacy grant from the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
