Article: Lewis, Clark Mount Hood Wilderness Act Introduced in Senate by Sen. Wyden

WASHINGTON, Mar. 6 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, has introduced the Lewis and Clark Mount Hood Wilderness Act of 2007 (S. 647), legislation that would "designate certain land in the State of Oregon as wilderness."

The bill, introduced on Feb. 15, was co-sponsored by Sen. Gordon Smith, R-Oregon. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
