The premier event for fabric sourcing in the United States, Material World New York, presented by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), took place September 26 to 28, 2006, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in the heart of the American mega-metropolis. Held four blocks from legendary Broadway, Material World New York was the site of a massive international exhibition of fabrics, services, colour trends and fashion forecasts for 2007, combined with a rich and varied conference program.
