Gov. Edward G. Rendell, D-Pa., issued the following press release:
Gov. Edward G. Rendell today announced that economic development projects involving two Crawford County manufacturers will create at least 50 new jobs within three years and inject nearly $6 million into the area's economy. The Governor said the state's investment of $1.27 million in the Channellock Inc. and Acutec Precision Machining Inc. expansion projects will also retain 609 existing positions. "These projects will help revitalize Meadville and improve the quality of life for the area's hardworking men and women and their families," Governor Rendell said.
