Gov. Edward G. Rendell, D-Pa., issued the following press release:

Gov. Edward G. Rendell today announced that economic development projects involving two Crawford County manufacturers will create at least 50 new jobs within three years and inject nearly $6 million into the area's economy. The Governor said the state's investment of $1.27 million in the Channellock Inc. and Acutec Precision Machining Inc. expansion projects will also retain 609 existing positions.
