Article: German Inventors Develop Turbomachine with Rotor Shaft

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 14 -- Alfred Sopper of Kerpen, Germany, and Martin Leonhard of Bruhl, Germany, have developed a turbomachine with a rotor shaft that is mounted in a bearing arrangement containing a hydrodynamic axial bearing and a rotor disposed on the rotor shaft.
