WASHINGTON, March 14 -- Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colorado, has introduced a bill (H.R. 1390) to "require Senate confirmation of an individual appointed to serve as the Director of the American Institute in Taiwan."
The bill, introduced on March 7, was co-sponsored by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-California. It was referred to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
