WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Rep. Ed Markey, D-Massachusetts, has introduced the Fuel Economy Reform Act (H.R. 1506), legislation that would "increase fuel economy standards for automobiles."
The bill, introduced on March 13, was co-sponsored by 41 representatives. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
