The office of Sen. John F. Kerry, D-Mass., issued the following press release:
Sens. John Kerry and Edward Kennedy, along with Rep. William Delahunt today announced that the Cape Cod National Seashore will receive $2 million to purchase and preserve additional land along Massachusetts' shore.
"This funding will help to further protect the Cape's natural beauty from development and will preserve its natural resources for future generations to enjoy," said Senator Kerry. "I am pleased to have worked with Senator Kennedy and Congressman Delahunt, as well as with the Trust for Public Land to ensure that this part of our state will remain a national treasure for years to come."
