Northern State University issued the following news release:
Dr. Alan LaFave, NSU Dean of Fine Arts, was inducted into the American Bandmasters Association during their 73rd annual convention on March 7-10. The convention, held at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif. featured performances from several outstanding bands from across the country including; the University of Oregon, California Polytechnic State University, Arizona State University, and the U.S. Army Band; "Pershing's Own" from Washington, D.C.
As a part of LaFave's induction, he served as the guest conductor for the Arizona State University Chamber Winds performance at the convention. This ...
