Vancouver-based Blackstone Ventures will purchase a group of properties from Xsirala Nickel tor US$15.5 million.
Blackstone Ventures is a mineral exploration company focused on nickel and related metals. In partnership with Falconbridge, Blackstone currently has seven properties that are located in southcentral Norway and cover 25,000 km^sup 2^ (9,653 sq miles).
Included are 52 historic mine sites, including the "birthplace" of nickel where it was first identified and named in the mid-1800s. All of the projects are well positioned with respect to infrastructure and contain an abundance of nickel mineralized ...
