Article: STATE HEALTH OFFICIALS URGE COLORADANS TO CHECK FOR CONTIMATION IN OSCAR MAYER, LOUIS RICH CHICKEN BREAST STRIPS

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued the following news release:

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment today again urged individuals who may have purchased a variety of Oscar Mayer/Louis Rich chicken breast cuts and strips at retail locations in Colorado to check their packages for specific code information as this chicken may be contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes. This information is an expansion of a recall originally released by Carolina Culinary Foods, a South Carolina based firm, on February 18, 2007. The recall was today expanded to include 8 different varieties of the product totaling approximately 2.8 million pounds of product.
