WASHINGTON, March 26 -- Sen. Pete V. Domenici, R-New Mexico, has introduced a bill (S. 842) to "authorize to be appropriated $9,200,000 for fiscal year 2008 to acquire real property and carry out military construction projects at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico."
The bill, introduced on March 12, was co-sponsored by Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-New Mexico. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
