Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett, R-Md. (6th CD), issued the following press release:
Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett (R-6-MD), 2005 Humane Society of the United States Legislative Leader, voted "yes" on the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act of 2007 (H.R. 137) which passed by an overwhelming bipartisan margin of 368-39. Rep. Bartlett said, "It's time for Congress to strengthen the hand of law enforcement, and enable the federal government to do its part to crack down on the reprehensible animal fighting industry, which is not only cruel but poses threats to public health and safety."
