The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture designated three Texas counties primary natural disaster areas.
Crane County was designated a primary natural disaster area due to losses caused by drought and high winds that occurred from Jan. 18, 2006, and continuing. Also eligible because they are contiguous are Crockett, Ector, Pecos, Upton and Ward counties. Waller County was designated a primary natural disaster area due to losses caused by drought that occurred on Jan. 1, 2006, and continuing. Also eligible because they are contiguous are Austin, Fort Bend, Grimes, Harris, Montgomery and Washington ...
