The city of Tualatin issued the following news release:
Police Officers in Tualatin helped contain two (2) dangerous dogs that destroyed a domestic cat earlier today.
On February 14, 2007 at about 12:36pm, Tualatin Police were called to an address in the 22000 block of SW Pinto Dr. in Tualatin, on a report of two (2) large dogs destroying a cat. When Officer Nate Cooper arrived, he located the two dogs who were still with the cat, which was deceased.
Officer Cooper remained in his patrol car and he and other officers maintained a "rolling containment" of the two dogs as they ran through the area neighborhoods. The officers did not attempt to approach the dogs for fear of creating a more ...
