The right way to use automotive A/C sealants
Some service technicians believe sealants don't work and damage A/C systems. But sealants can work fine-as long as they are used properly.
Before choosing to use a sealant repair process, however, it is essential to make sure that the vehicle is a suitable candidate for that process. For example, if the system can't hold 24 inches of vacuum, the hole size is probably larger than 300 microns (the diameter of a human hair) and most sealants won't be effective.
