Article: OHIO DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE PROVIDES FLOOD INFORMATION AND INSURANCE TIPS

The Ohio Department of Insurance issued the following news release:

With the spring thaw here and the hurricane season to come, Ohio Department of Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson is urging Ohioans to plan for emergency situations by reviewing their insurance policies to determine whether they are adequately covered.

"If you do suffer property damage, it is important to understand the claims process," Director Hudson said. "Ohioans with questions about preparing for severe weather, filing claims or obtaining flood coverage can call the Department at 1-800-686-1526."
