Article: NEA ANNOUNCES GRANTS TO MUSIC AND DANCE COMPANIES TO APPEAR AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS

The National Endowment for the Arts issued the following press release:

In the realm of foreign exports, few can rival the arts for their ability to showcase the creative, imaginative, and visionary qualities of the United States. To support performances of music and dance companies to significant international festivals, the National Endowment for the Arts has established USArtists International. Through this program, 23 arts organizations were recently awarded grants totaling $86,600 to help them travel to and perform at international festivals.
