Article: All Healthy Children Act Introduced in House by Rep. Scott

WASHINGTON, April 3 -- Rep. Robert C. 'Bobby' Scott, D-Virginia, has introduced the All Healthy Children Act of 2007 (H.R. 1688), legislation that would "amend the Social Security Act to provide health insurance coverage for children and pregnant women throughout the U.S. by combining the children and pregnant woman health coverage under Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) into a new All Healthy Children Program."

The bill, introduced on March 26, was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and House Rules Committee.
