Nicholls State University issued the following news release:
Chefs Gaetano and Joseph "Joey" DiSalvo of DiSalvo's Station Restaurant in Latrobe, Pa., were welcomed at the Distinguished Visiting Chef Series by the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University at its 10th Annual Lafcadio Hearn Award Dinner on March 19.
The DiSalvos directed the preparation of the meal with culinary students and provided a live cooking demonstration as part of the evening's program. They also took time to deliver a class lecture and tape an interview for the institute's culinary archives.
