The University of Alabama at Birmingham issued the following news release:

WHAT: The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health is marking National Public Health Week by allowing people to experience hands-on what it takes to prepare for and manage a disaster. Local and state agencies will be on hand with preparedness and response equipment for hurricanes, tornadoes, bombs, mass casualties and more. There will be demonstrations and audience participation. The event is co-sponsored by the UAB South Central Center for Public Health Preparedness.
