WASHINGTON, April 4 -- Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Arizona, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 284) "amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to strengthen the point of order against the consideration of legislation that contains congressional earmarks."
The resolution, introduced on March 29, was co-sponsored by Reps. Brian Bilbray, R-California; Doug Lamborn, R-Colorado; and Joe Pitts, R-Pennsylvania. It was referred to the House Rules Committee.
