Article: Human Cloning Prohibition Act Introduced in Senate by Sen. Brownback

WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kansas, has introduced the Human Cloning Prohibition Act of 2007 (S. 1036), legislation that would "amend the Public Health Service Act to prohibit human cloning."

The bill, introduced on March 29, was co-sponsored by 27 senators. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
