ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 12 -- Raymond Soria of Bazet, France, Jean-Claude Foulon of St. Lezer, France, and Jean-Michel Cayrey of Beaucens, France, have developed a homogeneous bulky porous ceramic material. According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A homogeneous bulky porous ceramic material is provided, the average pore diameter of which is less than 4 micrometer (mum) and the closed porosity of which is less than 2 mum, and having a bubble point that matches the pore diameter measured on the material.
