The Clackamas County government issued the following news release:
North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) unveils the new community youth ballfields at North Clackamas Park on Saturday, April 21, at a noon "Diamonds are Forever" ceremony with cheerleaders, a high school band, an old-time base ball team and a star-spangled line-up.
"This is the celebration that's been a long time in the making," said Clackamas County Director of Business and Community Services Dan Zinzer. "It will be a day for the local history books."
