A German nonwovens manufacturer with a tradition of innovation has taken up the challenge of helping Rieter Perfojet to get the best from developing a combination of established technologies-spunbonding and hydroentanglement, reports Geoff Fisher.
German producer Hydrospun Nonwoven GmbH has successfully launched production on one of the world's first commercial Spunjet line supplied by Rieter Perfojet. This machine combines spunbond (spunlaid) and hydroentanglement (spunlace) technologies to produce nonwoven fabrics that offer bulk, softness and high tensile strength for a number of technical and textile markets.
