WASHINGTON, April 17 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, has introduced the Cold War Medal Act of 2007 (S. 1097), legislation that would "amend title 10, U.S. Code, to provide for the award of a military service medal to members of the Armed Forces who served honorably during the Cold War era."
The bill, introduced on April 12, was co-sponsored by Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
