The U.S. Department of the Interior issued the following press release:

Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne will be honored by the Outdoor Industry Association at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday evening, April 18, 2007. The Secretary will receive a Friend of the Outdoor Industry Award for his outstanding leadership and support of the outdoor industry.

The recognition ceremony will take place at the annual Friends of the Outdoor Industry Reception, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT in the Mike Mansfield Room (S-207).
