The city of Mount Pleasant issued the following press release:
On April 10, Mayor Harry M. Hallman, Jr. and market visitor Grace, 6, helped ring in the new season of the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. Despite the last few frigid days, farmers came out in force to sell their fresh produce.
"We are very excited to offer great quality homegrown produce to our residents," said Tourism Coordinator and Farmers Market Manager Ashley McKenzie. "The market's atmosphere is very distinctive from other Lowcountry markets.
