Jefferson County issued the following news release:

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the Lakewood Police Department are liquidating ten gold coins. These ten twenty-dollar gold coins were part of a seizure settlement and are now being offered to the public at a silent auction. Each coin was graded by NGC, Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, prior to 1998.

The public will have an opportunity to preview the coins at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, 200 Jefferson County Parkway Golden, Colorado; on Tuesday April 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interested parties are requested to submit sealed bids to Sgt. Richard ...
