Article: WORK SLATED TO BEGIN ON I-43, MOORLAND ROAD INTERCHANGE PROJECT ON APRIL 30

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

Work is scheduled to begin the week of April 30 on a $21.8 million contract to reconstruct the Moorland Road interchange with I-43 in Waukesha County.

A public meeting will be held April 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the New Berlin City Hall located at 3805 S. Casper Drive to discuss the project to reconstruct the Moorland Road interchange and replace intersections with modern roundabouts. "This project will relieve congestion and allow for anticipated traffic growth in this area," said Al Gilbertson, project manager with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).
